PARKING ISSUES: We have had issues with parking on nights where there are two events going on. To help alleviate the issue we are asking that ALL Kingston fans that are coming to the volleyball game enter on the east end. I have arranged for a ticket taker to be at both doors. This will also be for Thursday 9/18.

Blankets are IN! 😁 They will be sent home with your student by Friday unless you have reached out to have them picked up instead.
📌If you have not paid for your blankets in full, please plan to do that when picking up. They will not be sent home until paid in full.
📌If you do not want your blanket sent home with your child, please comment here or call the elementary office and let Ms. Carol know.
📌Forgot to order? We have limited quantities available and will sell until sold out. Blankets will be sold at home football games while supplies last. $25 each!

Our Leadership class has taken the initiative to create a Care Closet. They are in the process of cleaning out a closet and will be setting up a donation drive for items ranging from school supplies to toiletries. What a great way to show compassion, empathy, and leadership!

It was a great first week at KES! To wrap up the first week for her students, Ms. Kolacz hosted her annual “Book Tasting” for each of her 5th and 6th grade classes. During the event, students had the opportunity to rotate through several tables and get a “taste” for several different reading genres. Thank you, Ms. Kolacz, for offering this exciting opportunity to your students and fostering a love for reading at KES!

Good Evening KHS Families!
Thank you for helping to make the first week of school a success! Transitioning from summer break, jobs, etc. into a full school day can take some adjusting - your students have done a wonderful job.
Your child should have brought home a paper explaining how to sign up to receive progress reports through Skyward.
Communication: I encourage you to reach out to classroom teachers as soon as you have any questions or concerns regarding your child. You can find each teacher’s email address on our school website.
www.kingstonk12.org
Attendance Calls/Emails: If your child will be absent, we ask that you reach out to Mrs. Bundschuh
tbhundschuh@kingstonk12.org or call the office at 989-683-2550.
I hope you are having a great Labor Day weekend. I have enjoyed the first week of school and look forward to the 24-25 school year!
